This package is designed for hardwood floors that have scuff marks, surface scratches, and faded areas where the finish has been damaged/removed. We completely remove the old finish and add 2 premium coats of new polyurethane.

We utilize our dustless sanding system to remove all stain and finish on the floors to bare wood. This service is needed when the floors are older, damaged, or when clients are looking to change the color of their existing floors.

Both Engineered and Prefinished Flooring have an Aluminum Oxide finish. Aluminum Oxide is much tougher to sand vs Polyurethane on Solid Plank flooring; in addition, the wood used for the Engineered planks is much thinner. There is not a big margin for error when sanding - These 2 reasons are why the majority of hardwood companies do not sand these types of floors.
