In most cases shoe moulding gets scuffed up, neglected, urinated on by pets, and not cleaned properly. All these things cause it to show its age. Replacing your shoe moulding is a small project that can surprisingly transform the look of a room. Our team at Hardwood Floor Restore will take care of the removal and re-installation of your new shoe moulding/quarter round. We offer white or natural wood that can be stained to match any floor!

Just like shoe moulding, baseboards take quite a beating. They are often left dusty, scuffed, and scratched. We can remove your current baseboards and install white or natural wood that can be stained!

If you are wanting to update the look of your staircase quickly, replacing your wood spindles for iron balusters can be a great way to achieve a modern look! We use a saw to cut through the middle of the wood spindles and carefully remove the top and bottom section. After, we drill holes to fit the new iron balusters. The new balusters have to be measured and cut to fit into place. Labor costs on having this project completed is $35.00 per spindle! 

Here at Hardwood Floor Restore LLC we can replace any part of your staircase that you prefer to update! As the square shaped Newel Posts gain popularity we are renovating more and more staircases! When we replace newel posts we really prefer to replace the handrails at the same time. Depending on the spacing and cutting needed for the new Newel Posts the current handrail may not blend. We can also transform your full carpeted stairs to match your hardwood floors! When we remove carpet off of stair treads often times we find pine wood underneath. Pine usually cannot be stained to match your floor so we would install new Oak Stair Treads!
